Our Collective Worship
Collective worship in our school is a daily moment when the whole community gathers as one to reflect, celebrate, and grow together through shared reflection and values. It takes place every day as a whole-school experience and follows carefully planned themes across the academic year, each designed to help children think deeply about themselves, others, and the wider world. Interwoven throughout these themes are our Words of Power — love, friendship, kindness, respect, resilience, faith, and hope — guiding pupils to understand and live out these qualities in their daily lives. Through stories, music, discussion, and quiet thought, collective worship offers opportunities for children to explore spiritual and moral ideas, develop confidence in expressing their beliefs, and appreciate the perspectives of others. At the heart of it all is our vision, ‘Let your light shine’, encouraging every child to recognise their unique gifts and use them to make a positive difference in their community and beyond.
